Baltic seaside 100 km Cup
REGULATIONS
I. Common part
Ultra run Baltic seaside 100 km Cup and Open championship of Lithuania of 100 km in 2011 is organized by public institution „Tarptautinis maratonas“, municipality of Nida city, Lithuanian Athletics Federation and running amateurs club „Šviesos kariai”.
II. Purpose and tasks:
Continuing tradition of ultra run on the seaside of Lithuania.
Discovering winners, prize men and prize women of the Race and champions of Lithuania.
Popularizing long distance runs in Lithuania, to advertise Lithuania as a seaside country.
II. Distance and route
Amateurs and professionals will compete in 100 km distance during the Ultra run. The route will be in Nida bike road. Participants will have to overcome 2,5 km route, 40 times. Route of the Run is exactly measured and certified according to all rules of running on the road.
IV. Time and place
Start and finish – 28th May, 2011 – 7.00 a.m. All participants must finish until 9.00 p.m., and then the Race will be over.
V. Participants
Participants of the Ultra run must be 18 years old or older. Runners should be prepared for an extremely difficult physical strain. The participants take part in the event at their free will, nobody is forcing them and they accept all the risks (unexpected health problems, etc.) related to the competition and will have no legal claims in this respect to the organizers of the Ultra run. Runners must have their identification documents and a certificate from a doctor, which lets to go in for sports (law of Physical education and Sports of Republic of Lithuania) when they withdraw their race number.
With the registration to the Ultra Run, the participant authorizes the organizers, sponsors and media partners, the acquisition of the rights to use the still and moving images in which he or she appears, taken through any kind of the medium and used for all promotional and/or advertising purposes in any part of the world for the maximum period of time provided by the existing laws, rules and treaties, inclusive of any applicable extension without any additional permission from the participant.
Every participant of the competition must have a number fastened neatly on the T-shirt. The number has to be fastened on the front of the T-shirt to be clearly visible during the entire Race.
Participants, who will be held as overcame all the Ultra run, must finish the distance at time running and only by foot, only by their own strength and regarding to all rules of track-and-field running on the road.
Participants are not allowed to leave the route without permission of referees’ and later to get back on it and continued running, also it is forbidden to push other participant or to disturb referees’ and other participants in other ways. Organisers have a right to disqualify those participants, who do not follow rules of track-and-field running on roads, for ignominy or unsportsmanlike behavior at any time.
VI. Responsibilities and duties of Organizers
A technical meeting will take place on 27th May, 2011 in Nida city, Naglių str. 16 „ČILI PICA“ at 7.00 p.m. During the meeting participants will be given with all necessary information about the Race and the race numbers will be distributed. Participants must attend in the meeting otherwise he or she will not be allowed to participate in the Race.
Catering station will be upholstered in the route.
VII. Awards
Award ceremony will take place on 29th May, 2011 at 12.00 a.m., in Central Nida beach. Winner of 100 km Ultra run and prizemen/prize women will be given with monetary prizes.

Champions of Lithuania will be given with medals and diplomas.
All participants, who will overcome distance of ultra run, will be given with commemorative medals of ultra run, diplomas.
VII. Registration and entrance fee
Runners can register until 18th May, 2011 in www.baltic100km.lt . The participant is registered and enrolled into the start protocol from the day when the organizers of the event get the entry fee. The entry fee is non-refundable.
