You can arrive to Lithuania by plane, train, bus and even by ferry.
We have three international airports in our country – Vilnius (www.vilnius-airport.lt), Kaunas (www.kaunasair.lt) and Palanga (www.palanga-airport.lt)
The nearest big town to Nida is Klaipėda. The distance between these two towns is 50km. The distance from the capital of Lithuania Vilnius to Klaipėda is 300km. Vilnius and Klaipėda are joined by an excellent motorway (A1), so your travel by bus would last about 3,5 hour (www.autobusustotis.lt). There are 200km from Kaunas to Klaipėda, so your journey would take for about 2 hours 30 minutes (www.kautra.lt). Palanga is the nearest airport to Klaipėda. The distance between these two towns is only 30km. You can reach Klaipėda by bus (www.vlasava.lt).
You can use bus (www.klap.lt) or train (www.litrail.lt) to arrive to Lithuania from neighbouring countries. Some Baltic countries have good connection with Klaipėda harbour by ferry.
The town of Nida is in the Curonian Spit and is included into the UNESCO heritage list for its unique nature.
You can arrive to Nida in two ways:
1) using a passenger ferry from Klaipėda harbour (www.keltas.lt) and organising your further travel by your own transport or taking a bus (www.klap.lt) ; 2) to arrive from Russia, from Kaliningrad region (it has a common border with Kuršių Nerija).
We recommend You to apply to our partners - travel agency ZIG ZAG – and they will offer You most optimum way to come to our events and where to stay.
